Thankfully, the shoes on which the goo accrues are of the miniature sort (1 brightly colored pair per player) and traverse the game board a few spaces at a time based on spins of the Merry-Go-Round. Purposefully littered about the board are small globs of goo, placed there either at the game's outset or added during the course of play. Each time a player lands on a space with goo, they must add it to their shoe. Further enlivening the fun are several types of special spaces on the colorful, twisting-path game board. Some call for the addition of more goo to your shoe, while others signify its removal. Goo on my Shoe is fast-moving fun that plays well across a broad range of ages and is well-suited for players as young as age four, making it a game the entire family can enjoy!
